The acting is terrible! The scenes appear to be made up of heavily edited bits and bobs. The actors eyes are all over the place. None of the characters are believable. Zachary Friedman as Koby Burrows is particularly awful, screaming and screeching like a banshee.
The local school bullies are tiny Tim and a weaker looking kid, who are as scary as a popcorn bag at a weight watchers meeting.
The plot? still somewhere in the twilight zone, I have no idea of what was going on. The heavy editing of flip screens and the awful acting made the plot as believable as David Ike shape shifting.
I can't believe I paid £5 to watch this pile of horse poop. Avoid at all costs! Awful wooden acting, poor plot and screaming talentless kids.

We picked this movie looking for family friendly movies. My 9 year old daughter loved this movie. She found out there was a book and wants to read it! She is also excited for the tiger's tail 2 to come out!

Christopher Judge should be ashamed to be a main actor in this movie. The small Safari Zoo he runs barely is to the level of a terrible Roadside Zoo level. No barriers, walk paths right against the animals cages, multiple times the child actors tried to put their hands inside the cage, or feed the animals, and Judge's character had to stop them. (all scripted) A keeper enters the Tigers cage with the cat still in it, leaving the door open, and the kids feet away from the entrance. (that is how the cub escapes). The chainlink cages could hold a 150lb dog, but not a 400lb tiger. The whole place is a death trap and no where near a legit zoo or wildlife park. No one in their right mind would want to visit there. Judge is an animal lover, and I am surprised he would agree to star in a movie that portrays such a terrible and dangerous roadside zoo.
The rest of the movie, is B roll level. As many others have stated, acting is corny, full of cringe and sterotypes, and cookie-cutter cliches and overall, just is hard to watch. There is alot of obvious post production voice overs done for character dialog, as the audio is louder and a bit blown out compared to other dialog. It does appear that most of the scenes with the tiger cub and kids are real, meaning, the child actors were actually interacting with the animal, which i am sure the loved to do.
Overall though, if you can set aside the afore mentioned issues, it is a cute movie, that I am sure, many kids (and adults), can only wish to have happen to them in some form, to be able to take home a cute and cuddly tiger cub to play with and take care of. Course, this is pure fantasy, and in reality, things would be far different, should something like this happen.
This movie very much shows the wrong message, and only results watchers wanting a tiger as a pet because they are just so cute and cuddly and playful when young. The cub trade, petting and such, is a huge issue, exploiting them for financial gain, only to discard them after they are 5 months old, too big to be "played" with. They try to spell out the right message near the end, but the whole movie it slef is a farce to that message that Tigers are not Pets.

My toddler loves this movie but we tell him it's broken. I literally thought kids wrote it and maybe won some contest.

This movie was basically a vehicle to showcase an adorable tiger cub. Luna the cub was as cute as can be and steals the scenes she's in. End of positives for this film. The writing was unbearably corny; the acting, especially on the part of the children, was hammy and annoying. Stereotypes of fat kids and bullies abound, and the writing was so bad that my eyes were fatigued from all the rolling they did. Dialogue was cliché and poorly structured. The plot was a cookie-cutter sequence of devices from 10,000 other kids' movies. As a father of a young child, I sit through a lot of children's movies and I am able to enjoy many of them. This movie was an absolutely grueling chore to watch. I squirmed at the sheer awfulness of every aspect of it, especially the music video dream sequence in the middle of the movie that seemed to go on forever. My son sat through it, but luckily for me he didn't enjoy it enough to request ever seeing it again.

If you are interested in movies with sensible plots and realistic characters, this movie is not for you. If you are interested in movies with adorable children, even cuter animals, and comedy from pure stupidity, this movie will be great for you. It starts with Billy and his friend Kobi at the zoo, where they run into Doreen, the girl Billy likes. Doreen is very interested in tigers and Billy decides he wants a baby tiger. Then the two least intimidating two-dimensional "bullies" show up just to torment Billy and Kobi, who cannot defend themselves because they are for some reason scared of the two foot bully and his slightly taller idiot partner. Sounds much more scary than having a tiger live in your room. The bullies throw Billy's backpack into the tiger exhibit. The zookeeper goes into get it, but for some reason does not close the gate all the way. I guess worse case scenario everyone gets eaten and the zoo is shut down. On the way home Billy talks to his parents about wanting a baby tiger, only to discover one in his backpack when he gets home. He tells his parents, who don't believe him and don't even bother to check. Billy hides the tiger in his room, worried that he might get arrested for the tiger who accidentally ended up in his backpack due to the zookeepers inability to close the gate. He is not at all worried about sharing a room with a tiger, when he already has a dog, and even baby tigers may scratch or bite if they're scared. Sadly, Billy is the smartest character. The dog and tiger seem to get along fine, until the tiger destroys the house and Billy let's the dog take the fall. Again, why doesn't he tell his parents the truth? He can't get in trouble because he already told hos parents about the tiger. Billy shows the tiger to Kobi and makes him promise not to tell. He almost immediately tells the bullies in front of all the popular kids. Doreen hangs out with the mean girls, even though she's super nice. The bullies threaten to beat up Billy and Kobi if they don't show them the tiger, and what can be scarier than getting beat up by a 2 foot tall boy? The bullies try to steal the tiger, but end up being scared, and the tiger is revealed to Billy's parents. Billy returns the tiger and everyone acts like nothing happens, when the zoo should be offering Billy a large sum not to sue them. The plot of this movie is so senseless that it's hilarious. I recommend it to people who like those kind of movies.

78 minutes of my life I will never get back! I have never seen such rubbish acting in my life! I feel embarrassed for the "actors" of this "movie" I must say that I feel more for the poor dog that they try to pass as a boy when it is very clearly a girl! There is absolutely no structure to this awful movie and have no idea how it even managed to get onto screens in the first place! I just wish that I could rate no stars as giving it the one is more than generous! People who have voted this movie with more than one must have been looking in the opposite direction of their screens because I can't for the life of me see what they're rating!!
My advice for anyone who is thinking of seeing this "movie" is: Don't do it! Save your money and watch some paint dry...... Trust me, you will find it much more enjoyable.
