Honestly I only wanted to watch this movie because the main girl in this movie is FINE! But I end up actually enjoying this movie, had a decent plot and the actors were good actors in my opinion. Wasn't the greatest movie but it wasn't the worst either. These type of hood movies have been made a million times but this one was more enjoyable. It was a low budget movie and it could have been much better if more money was spend on it. It kept my attention throughout the whole movie so It was made just right. I would like to see the two main actors (the female and guy) in more movies, I thought they did a good job, a lil over the top sometimes but all in all I enjoyed watching them in this movie.

Just not a great movie, mediocre acting, mediocre story. Very low budget, that's not always a bad thing, but in this case it made for bad performances. I can't help but feel like the main girl was a Nicki Minaj wannabe. I wasn't overly invested in the story as I wasn't engaged by the main characters or didn't see any genuine character development. I wanted to like this, I really did, Ive been wanting a good love story that didn't come from a fairytale, privileged setting, one that showed genuine portrayal of average people falling in love while facing the struggle, together. This just did not deliver. Also, it almost feels like it's trying way to hard to show Black Americans in a negative light, where is the genuine black love stories that uplifts people, not just stories filled of drug addiction, stripping and violence. It's one thing to portray the struggle in a realistic way, or to capture a real picture about life in the streets, but this only helping to reinforce bigot opinions about people of colour.
