It 's for Dr Quinn and Sully!!!!!!!!! Truly a blast from the past, as one reviewer said it.
Just don 't even care about the movie, it's just so great to see those two again, in the same movie!!!!!
It lacks their chemistry, don' t know why, they have it in real live, they re soulmates, don ' t know how they did not end up tgthr forever and ever....
Anyway, Christmas movies are chilling and relaxing, the actors are melting the heart, so, with a cup of hot tea, or milk, or chocolate, one sunday afternoon, on the comfy couch, in front of tv..... will do wonders for your mind and soul.
So... it s Medicine! Medicine Woman :)))

I am a rom com fan and I didn't think I would like this one.
However, this movie threw me for a loop because I found it very entertaining. The mature couple played by Jane and Joe really had wonderful chemistry. Outside of the breaking of the tree topper (which was unnecessary), the movie was going at a great pace. The script doesn't wait till the end to have the lead characters some emotions. Also, the discussion around starting one's second chapter resonated.
Don't let the low ratings from others stop you from seeing this movies. It has great Christmas feels and the lead actors make it worth the watch.

Jane Seymour is radiant. Pairing her with her Dr. Quinn co-star was a great idea.
Can you imagine being in the position where you have this to start with and then all you need is a decent script; getting a writer who appreciates what they have to work with? I believe I have a clear vision of what it was like writing the script for this movie. They have an idea for a script that is so trite they realize they have to come up with a whole new script, and they are on the clock having very little time to get it done. Not having a creative bone in their body what they come up with is to have the leads involved in a play with a terrible script where they are forced to come up with a replacement script in two weeks. They succeed but when we see the final product it turns out to be imbecilic. That's it! That's the whole plot!
Quite disappointing.

Finally a different Christmas film, which stands out from the eternal films, all formatted around the same plot. First, the protagonists prove that love has no age, that charm and sex appeal don't only belong to thirty-somethings. The writer and director for once kept the lovebirds from acting like stupid adults: Hank is attracted to Molly and acts like it, not like a teenager. Molly succumbs to Hank's charm, and seduces him back. When an incident can cause a dent in this fledgling relationship, they are smart enough to talk about it and cement their love. So nice to be considered adult viewers for once.
This film is carried by the incredible charisma of Jane Seymour and Joe Lando, it's so gratifying to see them courting each other, having fun playing together. Special mention to Joe Lando, for his sobriety, his humor, his subtlety, his accuracy and his charisma.
Only negative point, and at the same time logical, the final show looks so bad, but let's not forget that the characters had 2 weeks to create and put it together, costume included.
Just a note on the 2 negative comments, maybe if they had watched the right channel, Lifetime and not Hallmark, as they mention it, they might have actually seen the movie. Gotcha.

I liked each of those actors in Dr. Quinn, medicine woman. But their acting skills have gone downhill. Joe Lando is robotic, has no real emotion coming from him. They don't have good chemistry together anymore. She's a bit sickening actually but his skills are terrible. His acting skills. Play was dumb. Would I watch it again, answer is no. The daughter I Kinda liked. The granddaughter was cute enough. But nobody else really added anything to the storyline. Probably one of the worst Christmas movies I've seen this season come from Hallmark. Movie had no Christmas spirit to speak of. Decor was pretty as in all the hallmark Christmas movies. Wasted 2 hrs of my time.

This movie is plodding, dull and colorless. Jane Seymour was lovely to look at as always, but there was no chemistry between her and Joe Lando. Joe seemed extremely out of his comfort zone and his acting was wooden. This goes to show that being attractive and easy on the eyes doesn't carry the movie.
And WHAT IS UP WITH THE HALLMARK LADIES' HAIR? With the exception of Jane Seymour (who thankfully kept them away from hers) almost every female has dead ends and their hair is curled until the last 2 or 3 inches and then it just hangs there. It doesn't look like their hair has been combed through or styled; it looks like someone curled it with a curling iron, then just pulled the curls down. For God's sake, you can't be on THAT much of a budget. Every woman (and a fair amount of men) watch these movies annually and buy the products that you so casually (cough cough) display in scenes. The hair spans the gamut from thin, baby-fine and lanky, limp and listless, to dry and stringy, to brittle and dull. Spring for a professional hair stylist for heaven's sake! Many times this is so distracting that I turn the movie off.

Jane Seymour is such an ageless beauty. While great to see her reuntine with her Dr Quinn co-star Joe Lando, their talents are completely wasted in this Christmas romcom. I definetely had a lot higher hopes but it ended up just being another average Lifetime movie where anyone could have played the lead actors. The story is very dull and lacklustre making this instantly forgetable after watching it. I feel like a jerk for slating this since as I write this review, nobody else has reviewed it and I'm sure people within the film will read this. However, I'm just being honest. I just wished their was more to this movie and some originality.

Loved it up until they performed in the hokey Christmas play. I wished they hadn't shown any of it, perhaps just discussed it later. I found it so jarringly bad I felt bad for Joe Lando. Jane Seymour continues to shine and I did love seeing Joe and Jane together again after all these years. They should make a movie together at least once a year. It doesn't even have to be a holiday movie. Perhaps a Dr. Quinn reunion movie. I would watch that. I still love Michaela and Sully. 😍 It was a great series. In fact, I just watched the entire 6 seasons of Dr. Quinn, finishing up before this new movie aired. Joe looks so distinguished with his short salt and pepper hair. Jane is gorgeous as always. Thank you, Lifetime, for filming and airing this long-awaited movie.

It was great to see Jane Seymour and Joe Lando back together, after growing up with 'Dr Quinn.'
Like any holiday movie there are some corny/cheesy lines but the story was a fresh take on love and family.
I also liked how the story focuses on how no matter how old someone is, everyone deserves to find love. Most of these movies are about a 30-something, but this is about the 30-something's mother finding herself and what makes her happy again.
And thank you to Lifetime for another movie that doesn't end in a kiss. Too many moves are unrealistic ending in a kiss, when that's not how real life works.
