I don't review movies often, mostly because I'm lazy and don't want to take the time.
However, after reading so many negative and almost hateful reviews, I wanted to leave something else.
This isn't a 'great' film, but I found it intriguing and even a little emotional.
A few keys to remember as you watch:
1: Its a LOW BUDGET film. I'd be willing to bet, it was a labor of love for those involved.
2: Its an art film of sorts. What does this mean? That its ending is sort of open.
3: Some people aren't making the big bucks as actors for a reason, but it doesn't mean they're bad.
There is a story that slowly unfolds before you. A person who changes and fights against everything to change her future, anyway she can.
If you can't get past the budget and lower grade actors, then stop watching and give up. You've set higher standards than this film can live up too.
Personally, I've always had the ability to look past actors I don't like, to enjoy a movie. Sometimes, I just want to get lost in a story and I did with this one.

Not sure who paid for the budget on this incoherent sludge of a "film". Likely the lead actress's rich husband or lover or whatever. Then when this thing parading as film tanked. all of her buddies had a sleep over at her LA pad and wrote all the fake reviews on here, Some quote the exact description verbatim. Not obvious? This "flick" really needs to be stricken from all records and burned. Internet and all physical copies. The scenes are non cohesive in any way shape or form. actors would be better off doing hemorrhoid cream commercials than what apparently passes for acting and the CGI, a 3rd grader could put together more convincing FX. Sad and pathetic all around, Btw baby bump not one iota real. Whole thing a massive waste of time and space. Trash it!

I admit I needed to restart it several times to be able to get a sense of the storyline, but I don't think that's because the story is lacking anything. Upon reflection, I would say there is quite a bit more thematic material to this story and more drama potential than the rest of the movies you would want to compare it to. I'm resisting comparing it to another movie because 95ers: Time Runners is sufficiently different in terms of story that I think comparison to another movie isn't what I want to do, This is science fiction but the movie tells the story of seemingly regular folks trying to deal with extremely potent and unusual occurrences. I like movies that give me something to think about in terms of intellectual topics, you know, cutting edge science, psychology, sociology, movie making, so I am well pleased with 95ers:, And further, the lead actor Alesandra Durham did a fantastic job and so I liked watching this movie very much because of her, and the storyline, and the special effects for the story are great.

This is a fast-moving complex sci-fi thriller. Not a new concept, but one of the best time-travel films I've seen in a long time. 90 minutes seemed like 10 - spooky. The quality for an indie film was excellent and the special effects were very tasteful with some good CGI. The original soundtrack complimented the film perfectly. I would like to see a sequel, or even better a TV series, the characters are very watchable and the story could be explored further. I particularly like the character 'Brego' and how he linked the mystery together. I watched this at an indie film night and it was very well received, If you like sci-fi give it a watch, you will not be disappointed.

An FBI agent with time-bending powers must fight sinister forces from the future to save her loved ones from being erased from existence..
A super hit with 95ers: Time Runners OMG LOVED IT!! As a woman born long before cells etc, our generation was able to think up all sorts of new technologies to bring art to a whole new level and all because of the great and epic sifi standards like this movie. A 10 outta 10 and had to sign in just to review. Without putting up any spoilers the actors were believable, and the story was an excellent idea and not the cookie cutter "let's make a movie just because we can". Directed by Thomas Gomez Durham. Tom just a average family guy really impressed me with his writing skills. He then took 8 years to finish this project but with the help of Kickstarter, and mass appeal supported funding along his skills in production he created a master piece. Watch out Hollywood! Script was wonderful. I look forward to more Movies to follow up on this, and maybe a series would be great guys! I cant wait for a sequel. Brovo!

This is a great movie for Time Travel nerds, such as myself. The ability of 95ers to rewind time for a few seconds, and the way this is related to Quantum Mechanics, is actually very consistent with physical theories, namely the 'Transactional Interpretation' of quantum mechanics. Rather than explaining the space of possibilities as being multiple universes, or multiple timelines, the Transactional Interpretation claims that the past, as well as the future, are not immutable, they are re-writable. Exploring possibility space is an exercise of sending information forward, and backward, in time, as is done with the 95ers time-rewind ability.
While the experience of Sally is portrayed as sequentially exploring one possible timeline after another, by rewinding time, the visual portrayal of the timeline as simultaneously branching, both in Horatio's book, as well as The Navigator's simulation, is very close to the way that multiple overlapping timelines might actually work.
Although I'm not a fan of Time Teleporters, (time machines which create discontinuities in space and/or time - meaning you blink to another point in time and space), this kind of discontinuity does not become problematic in this story, because of the introduction of 'paradoxes', as relics of overlapping possibility flows. Also, 'paradoxes' allow for a meaningful explanation for an otherwise cheesy "Marty McFly starts to fade out of existence", as timelines begin to diverge.
The term 'gravity' is used kind of strangely, I think. It is meant to be an indicator of how multiple simultaneously timelines interplay with each other, where the timeline with a lower gravity cannot have deterministic consequences on a timeline with a higher gravity. This is portrayed when agents from the future try to shoot Sally, and their bullets don't do anything to her. The Navigator is also waiting for the 'gravity' of Sally's timeline to get low enough before sending the Captain, presumably so that their attempts to modify the past will actually have an effect. I think the term 'stability' or something like it, would have been more indicative of what is being portrayed here.
There are a couple of narrative discontinuities (not related to time travel). The first is the jump from 'Horatio and Sally are having a fun and lively courtship' to 'Horatio and Sally got married, Horatio died, and Sally is pregnant'. This narrative leap occurred over the course of a couple of seconds, and left me confused. The second discontinuity is the revelation that Sally and Horatio were having marital troubles, when the only thing you've seen from their relationship so far is their fun and lively courtship. This second discontinuity can actually be seen as one of the intermediate stages skipped by the first discontinuity. It seems like these problems could have been solved with less than 5 minutes of storytelling, between the time Sally and Horatio are courting, and the time when she arrives home, alone, to be disturbed by Horatio's 'ghost'.
Discontinuities aside, the story unfolds meaningfully, without placing all the cards on the table at once. The introduction of Sally's ability progresses in a natural well paced sequence. In addition, there are multiple layers of symbolism in the story. References to A Christmas Carol, which talks about 'ghosts' and the 'past, present, and future'. References to the unfolding of time as a game of chess, and players in the game taking roles. Horatio feels like a pawn, and Sally is represented as the Queen. All of these elements are evidence of masterful storytelling on the part of Thomas Gomez, et al.

So let's get one thing clear and set the record straight right from the get-go: all the reviews here on IMDb that are 9s or 10s are clearly not real, but rather faked reviews by people who worked on this low budget flick or are friends or family -- for this is surely NOT a 9 or a 10, Hell, it's not even a 6 7 or 8. I LOVED the idea of the plot/storyline; time travel is my thing. So seeing that it was free due to Prime, I figured "why not? It's Sunday morning and I'm not even awake yet." Within a minute or two I heard what could possibly be the worst, and most unprofessional and amateurish dialog by a male actor being delivered that I've ever heard in my life -- seriously. And I work IN the entertainment business (obviously), so I've seen and heard it all. But this was just AWFUL. BUT I hung on simply due to the fact that I was intrigued by the alleged storyline. Honestly glad I did. Though this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen -- in terms of the art craft and science of movie-making -- clearly a very low budget indie film made by amateurs, it also has had me thinking about it and it's ramifications non-stop since I watched it. It IS a good story. Interesting, well thought out, intriguing. It's just not a "professional" movie. That's all. If you can accept that from the start, AND you dig sci-fi and/or time travel movies, then you just may enjoy this indie movie. Everyone has to start somewhere... And this is where this crew happened to start. Frankly, for the alleged $750k budget they had to work with, one could almost applaud their effort. So 5 out of 10 is a fair assessment.

Every so often, a film is made that is so bad, it makes me cringe while I watch. Not laugh (my reaction to Plan Nine from Outer Space, for instance), but shake my head and wonder who could have foisted 90 minutes of such unutterable, irredeemable dreck on an unsuspecting world.
This is one of those movies.
I sat through it for as long as I could, hoping it would improve. It did not. The script, the direction, the performances, the editing. All uniformly abysmal.
As well, a decent high school play has better production values; one can't blame that fault on the lack of decent budget.
What makes me a bit angry are so many of these reviews. Seven or eight of the reviewers of this film have ONLY reviewed this film. If I were a suspicious sort, I'd think these folks were working with the filmmakers, trying to use the anonymity of the internet to turn this sow's ear into something vaguely resembling a silk purse.
Save your time, and money. There are many shows and films that depict time travel that are actually decent works. The Terminator series, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Continuum, the 2014 X-Men flick and Deja Vu (Denzel Washington) are all watchable to verging on excellent. Almost all of these examples have a strong female lead, as the 95ers purports to have.
I will go so far as to say this: the first three seasons of Star Trek Enterprise have some time travel based episodes; as uneven and spotty as that show was, it's Citizen Kane compared to the 95ers.

95ers: Time Runners is INCREDIBLE! Absolutely incredible! This is the kind of film that makes your brain spin, and you just can't stop thinking about it afterward. Fans of time travel stories will love this! The plot is crazy, the acting is amazing, and the special effects are so cool! It made me cry, it gave me chills - I really just can't say enough about this movie. Frankly, I'm surprised it's not a major blockbuster film. It's just as cool as many big Hollywood films I've seen, if not better. And it's family friendly, which is something that's hard to find these days. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves a good sci-fi movie!

The story is catching, smart and doesn't spill any clues prematurely. A clever twist of the old time travel theme. I liked it. Acting is very good, the SFX are pretty good but could have been conceived better. The timeline visualization with the ID popping up and bleeping, seemed a little weak to me. Otherwise, the screenplay is very well done - the "rewinds" visualized very nicely. The audio is not as clean as a Hollywood production, but closer to reality. In a server room for example, we hear the hardware whizzing. Though the complex plot should give rise to plenty inconsistencies, I saw none. Surely, if I would search for those, I would find some. To me, this level of attention for detail is the mark of a genius. Very much worth to watch!
I have noticed that this movie is called "95ers: Echoes" (2012) as well as "Time Runners" or "95ers: Time Runners" (2013). This is a bit confusing, but all refer to the same movie.
