I loved how the Director, Julia Block, built this film. How she built this journey. The actors were simply incredible. A great job in casting, so important! The cinematography was out of control excellent. All the various pieces of the film earlier on all start to eventually fall into place. I don't want to spoil things... but I love how the Director brought all the pieces of the puzzle together. Super well done on every level. I for sure recommend to watch this film.

This wasn't your average suspenseful thriller. It was definitely written in a unique way. Sometimes it was a little confusing scene by scene but in the end u will see how it all plays out. Must see. Production was very good

I love psychological thrillers and this movie will not disappoint. The character development is and story is hits the mark. Two thumps up for me.

8 REMAINS -Beautifully Shot and visually stunning thriller film.
It is interesting to watch this film, How director portrait the main character and how the main characters come out of life & death. the win over the psychopath man. Lead female characters make you think how your inner strengths and thoughts can make possible to win over yourself and others. (though it is not easy - it's a bit struggle )
Visual effect good and I really enjoy the lead actress performance and how the director brings out a good performance from her and how she carried the entire film all the way. Great direction and great acting plus beautiful cinematography.
Overall, Interesting film.

8 Remains is a really interesting film about the "what ifs" of a parallel world. When a young woman is being murdered, we as the audience are able to follow her through a mirror reality where she is able to re-live part of her life to better prepare for this dangerous moment. It's a really intriguing premise and my interest was maintained throughout. You'll really want to see how this unfolds, but I don't want to say too much more than I already have about the plot. I'd also like to mention that everyone involved in the visual aspects of this film deserve some praise, particularly since this is an indie film. Everyone from the wardrobe person, to the locations person, to the art director, to the cinematographer all deserve praise and many of these roles rarely get it. I think this was a really well made indie film and I would highly recommend it everyone. Check it out!

I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers, especially the ones that make the audience pay very close attention to understand the complexity of the narrative. With that being said, this existential film about a strong woman literally fighting for her life, didn't disappoint. Very well crafted story with great acting and really cool effects. It will be cool to watch it again now that I know the twist!!

Awful story, awful plot and terrible acting. Deserves 0/10. Do not watch this or any movie ranked under 6 stars.

8 REMAINS, is a beautiful, twisting & terrifying Thriller. A young woman devastated by tragedy and on the brink of giving up on life, is swept off her feet by a charming psychopath who plans to enjoy murdering her. Trapped in the moment between life & death, stalked & tormented by this man who holds her life in his hands, she's forced to fight for a way out and a second chance at life.

Don't get too attached to Talli (Maja-Celiné Probst) because she is choked to death in the first scene. This is good because her acting was poor. OH WAIT! This is an existential film, sort of. So Talli, who can't read her poorly scripted dialogue is in every scene as we flashback to her miserable lie. The film would not have been too bad if Damian (Gregory B. Waldis ), the antagonist, had a sense of humor.
Not worth the time.
