6 minutes of death is not a bad movie. It's also not the best special effects movie ever made. It is definitely an interesting movie. On a budget of $5,000 USD The director seems to get pretty creative at times. I'd like to see better acting but since the story line is something ver original it gets high marks. Find a tone and stick to it. Somewhere in here is a really enjoyable low-budget 90-minute film.The directors name is Joe Ciminera www.joeciminera.com and he seems to have quite a bit of an imagination. In addition to being creative and suspenseful , these people are ahead of their time. I don't say this for being the best movie produced. I say this because of the budget and the quality of the film. To my surprise the film was quite good. Not once did I blink an eye. The movie is about guardians who are angels that try and save a young girl from being kept in the underworld. Interesting enough to keep you wanting to watch this indie horror film with a new found witty director named Joe Ciminera. That talented filmmaker Ciminera directed Purification, Acedia, 6 minute of death and a new movie where a trailer is out called "Venial" (this seems to be his best work yet). While it thankfully is not CGI. For all the strong performances, for all the lovely imagery and for all of its minor tweaks on supernatural mythology it seems like a good watch

6 Minutes certainly displayed more of a sense of humour than anticipated - Not exactly the scariest horror film ever made but enough to make you jump a few times, which is not, however, to say the director have eased up on the gore, offbeat violence and killing. You will find less blood in these films and more psyhcological thriller hence. 6 minutes of death is a bubbling with of lurid visuals, screaming rows and high-camp action. The perfect antidote, in other words, to all that this in a thriller made on a low budget. The director was a was a bit vague about its intentions where the movie would end up, it's clear that whatever happens will be entertaining, perplexing and, as always scary. The movie is currently is just about every VOD and DVD outlet known. Good job guys

So far, this movie is a stylish introduction of how film makers can be creative on a low budget. The looks of this movie give reason to bet it will throw a lot more in this new film era, and to hope for some other film makers to protest heavy ticket cost at theaters. When something tries to shock me consistently , I'm pretty much never shocked by anything, or scared by anything but this movie gave me the creeps. I'm usually just exhausted at the usual scenery in most horror films, stealing focus every time with the same shocks and been there done that, and I don't mean that as a negative. Put low budget creative and this is what gets you close to the terror.

This movie has a slow opening but in the middle is where it heats up. Heart wrenching excitement was simply divine in this indie flic. The gaurdians have only 6 minutes to save a girl who is trapped by evil forces. if you can see past some low budget effects this movie is a pleaser from the start. Given the fact there are some breathtaking views. The plot twist this film was that everyone is somehow fooled through out the movie. The gore and scare were satisfactory too, but this really got me because of the budget.This movie immerses you in a of hell of earth unlike any you've seen before in most films. Remember the name Joe Ciminera: he is one of the most important new directors in horror filmmaking today.

There have been some really good choices for horror film over the years on an international level.; Not many movies come to mind, movies that have a familiar theme but are presented to us in a refreshing way. Many believe the old stephen kings are the closest to the real thing. i have found to much commercial input in that area. Horror is a genre that tends to go to the tooth quite often for inspiration, revisiting situations again and again and in my opinion just done before. Some countries produce so many that the movies thats its not even worth watching. Not every country has a high output of horror though but the Japanese, over the years America has produced some really good horror with directors coming out of the shuffle. 6 minutes of death shouldn't be this good. But it is. How can the director turn a movie that cost 5k into a feature with a wide release? He has and did before. In fact, I found it rather great. 6 minutes of death a lot of descriptions were bandied about. Many said it was very so so, I'd say the film is a Hitchcockian execution with a story that feels started from the brain of a deep horror fan director. But I don't want all of that to say 6 minutes of death is the best horror film I have ever seen. It is very much its own thing and credit for the film rests heavily on on the no script style of director Joe Ciminera who normally gets your palms wet and cold. Combine that with a dedicated performance by a few known B actors and you've got a masterful display of suspense that in my opinion is a worth watch, Enjoy the film

The guardians are the only thing saving a small girl. They immediately encounter some minor setbacks, but nothing can prepare them for the hell that is in store for them in the underworld. The concept of 6 minutes of death is vaguely reminiscent of a scifi thriller you would see int he old twilight zones. But, in no way does 6 minutes of death try to impersonate the twilight zone . The script less film delivers plenty of scares and sees the film's leads in constant int he horror film genre, It's easy to identify with who the heroes and the villain is The film is taut and filled with suspense. The opening credits sets the tone of the movie. And, 6 minutes of death simultaneously delivers character development and suspense. It packs a big punch in to its short running time of 86 minutes.

Starts off with some really good camera work of the 1860's. The first season of , the Netflix series based Tales from the Dark , was a winner so I was out to watch this movie when I heard it went to Hulu. After a promising start, it traded scares and mystery for a lot of original premise gory scenes. By the end it was hard to care who the killer was. When it was finally over, the main feeling was one a relief but it tricks you at the end. The guardians are all trying to save this girls and only have 6 minutes. Making horror movies these days is not is especially for dying fans of horror like myself. So what I look for is something that is different. ^ minutes of death id different. If you can see past some bad sound qualities the movie is worth the watch. Peace out!@
