In 2003, Minato Makiya attends high school in Okinawa as a senior. He meets junior student Miu Tamashiro from the same high school. They share the same love for music and are attracted to each other. On Minato's graduation day, he confesses his feelings to Miu and they begin to have a romantic relationship. Then, Minato's mother dies from a disease. Minato is about to give up on his dream of making music, but Miu persuades him to go to a university in Tokyo. Two years later, Miu comes to Tokyo to pursue her dream as translator and reunites with Minato. One day, Minato suddenly breaks up with Miu and he disappears.
