this movie amazed me so much that i really don't know how to start my review and even wondered if it worths people to write reviews. first of all, the poor casting and the poor screenplay: both sons looked already over 20 yrs old, the elder brother even looked like reached the 30s, and their mother was still a *, a so-called exotic dancer in a strip nightclub? so lets figure out how it was possible that her 2nd son was eligible for a high school graduate applying for college? so suppose it was as the screenplay described, if her 2nd son was 18 yrs old, when did she have the first son? and her first son almost looked reaching 30.....well, unless she had her 1st son when she was 13 and had her 2nd son when she was....eh....well, 16? otherwise how could you accept that she was still able to do the job as a strip dancer? with two son looked and acted like in the 30 and 25, no matter how she tried, she'd in the age of 45 or 55, might hold the world record as the oldest striper still working every night. this poor screenplay could even okayed into production only meant: the screenplay writer(s), the director and the producers didn't even know what the racing cars should be. they didn't even know what is what, just wanted to fool people to believe their movie was in the same genre and same level of 'fast and furious' or other less superior car racing movies. but it's not, it's pure garbage. and as for the acting? well, one word to nail the coffin tight: 'horrible'! and i just wish that most of the actors in this movie would leave the movie industries asap, 'cause there's definitely no future in it, especially those two guys who played the brothers. they were just horrible to watch. nothing worth reviewing further, kinda wasting time. i rest my case.

Throughout the years, people have been entertained with shitty car movies in the late 90's up until now. We've had some good ones, and we've had some awful ones. Till today, I was sure that Redline was the worst car movie ever made. Oh how wrong was I. To sum it up, This movie utilized some of the worst CGI effects for cars, along with some of the worst acting. Domingo or whatever the hell his name is, couldn't remember his lines, the mechanic chick sucks at drawing (LOL), the Main character uses nitrous around a turn? What is he a full on retard? Misinformation was very prevalent. A 370z would never keep up with a GTR on the streets... Ever. 2 completely different types of cars. Then, by some stupid magic, the 370z turns into a 350Z. Thats cool. It's probably a Datsun thing. If i could give it a -10, I would. Nitrous wouldn't ever make a car that weighs 2400 pounds lift up in the sky and into a 2 story building. Maybe the writers of the story were inhaling too much nitrous while writing the script. balls.

OK. Some namby-pambies are going to kvetch about the transforming car models. Some will point out the spoken dialogue recites the same exact performance specs for a 370Z and a GTR. Someone may notice that in the first race-to-get-to-the-race, little brother's taillights indicate he's driving a GTR (not the badass who appears minutes later). Some may chide the repeated use of the same exact film sequence going around corners repeated over-and-over. Some may note the unsuitability of the "actors", the trite dialogue, the nonexistent plot, the blatant F&F copying, the no-budget computer graphics, or the staleness of their popcorn. OK, we'll give you all that. It's a great movie because (1) they managed to slow the GTR down enough to stay in the same frame. Like those F-18 + P-51 Mustang fly-bys, this is not easy to do. It's great (2) because they show some nice cars from pre-Nuclear Meltdown Japan. It's great (3) for the split-second glimpses of California hotties, and the undercurrent of Sexual Tension. It's great because (4) YOU, yes, you, have the same entire movie budget to work with, but you're just sitting there watching (after paying to see someone else who actually did it). 'Nuff said.

this is a great movie to watch because it makes you appreciate blockbusters all the more. some of the actors are basically monotone, reading their lines of the prompter. its so bad it hurts. their knowledge of cars is unbelievably horrible. nitrous is nos. a sketch of a car with forged wheels and a spoiler means its going to be really fast. its just soo horrible. this is a great movie to watch because it makes you appreciate blockbusters all the more. some of the actors are basically monotone, reading their lines of the prompter. its so bad it hurts. their knowledge of cars is unbelievably horrible. nitrous is nos. a sketch of a car with forged wheels and a spoiler means its going to be really fast. its just soo horrible. this is a great movie to watch because it makes you appreciate blockbusters all the more. some of the actors are basically monotone, reading their lines of the prompter. its so bad it hurts. their knowledge of cars is unbelievably horrible. nitrous is nos. a sketch of a car with forged wheels and a spoiler means its going to be really fast. its just soo horrible. this is a great movie to watch because it makes you appreciate blockbusters all the more. some of the actors are basically monotone, reading their lines of the prompter. its so bad it hurts. their knowledge of cars is unbelievably horrible. nitrous is nos. a sketch of a car with forged wheels and a spoiler means its going to be really fast. its just soo horrible.

This movie actually has a lot of things going for it. A good hero car, an antagonist who appears quite untouchable in the R35, hot girls, and even a decent plot line. The things which it doesn't have in it's corner are cheap special affects, lame writing, and b-movie casting. But even these things can be overlooked and the movie could have been enjoyable if it weren't for one huge flaw. The attention to detail. Anyone who is into the import scene will want to literally scream at the blatant disregard and respect for the import scene. Here are just a few mistakes I can think of off the top of my head. The 370z's specs and stats are completely wrong as is the price. While driving to the first race scene the older brother's car magically becomes an R35. The antagonist R35 has the same specs as the 370z's, nearly word for word.During the race between the older brother and the antagonist they are constantly overtaking each other, but it doesn't show when or where this happened. When the brother crashes he is now in a 350z, not a 370z. When the girl mechanic brings her "blueprints" for what she wants to do to the FD RX-7, it literally looks like a child from pre-school drew them. Why the hell would she show that trash? And the hero is all like "this'll work," LOL! While talking about the hero car and also in the junkyard they refer to the hero car as an MX-5, then when he visits the Mexican gang leader it's an RX-7. 8. The hero ask "can I take a look at it," referring to the crashed RX7 the Mexican gang leader has. He then lift up the tarp from the front of the car, looks for 3 seconds, and then says "well the NOS system is still intact." Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Where the hell was the thing canister mounted? On the bumper? No wonder his car fell apart! While testing the RX7, the hero goes from an RX& to a 240sx with the same color pant. I mean really, thought you would slip that one by us huh? Overall it's just a simple lack of attention to detail, and more over any care for the final product. The movie is awful, and I can't believe a movie company would release something this unpolished. Whoever made this movie should never be allowed to make another one, because from what I saw they just don't care about their own vision. Maybe working in the mailroom is more up their alley.

Well, the Movie as when the title has started ... was looking a master piece ... , but all the accidents and real action events were FAKE and that led this Movie a flop and substandard ...., if some funds could be utilized to make this movie ... that would have been a good one ... Besides the story script and sequence was also irrelevant mostly, like there are dialogs which were not necessary to be used..., so ,,, i would rather say ... Don't WATCH IT ... It should not be rated as ONE 1, even ..... out of 10... Ending was good like nice and not arrogant.. but again .. COMPUTER EFFECTS WERE USED AND still extremely low level and low budget movie ...

Starring: Paul Logan & Janet T. Keijser. Directed by: Cole McKay. Pretty amazing effort at trying to steal the thunder of Fast Five. There was an actual story here about a man and his brother,Then the girlfriend and the mom have a journey to tell. The cars are realistic to having the power to race around downtown Burbank. Seems CGI is used for some of the trickier scenes,Like car crashes ,Etc… Paul Logan is playing a Bad Cop in this film and although believable as evil,Not something we want to see again. Janet Keijser adds to some unique scenes,When she plays the heroes mom as a * and hero has a girlfriend working at the same strippers club,Ummm… Ewwww ! Director is Cole McKay a stuntman's legend and possible shows what stunts are accomplished on a budget.

Not only is the acting very poor, but the story is so make-believe, it's as if the mind of a child wrote the script from their imaginary friends and daydreams. The CG is extremely bad. The cars, while in CG, move in a completely unrealistic manner. The way the cars when in CG move and crash have no real physics involved. Not only their movement, but after the 370Z crashes, it looks like a plasticine model someone dropped on the ground, rather than a car that has barrel rolled down the street. Enough ranting you say? I wish that's all I had to say. They went from a 2nd generation RX-7 to a Nissan 240SX S14, all the while calling it an MX-5! The MX-5 is a Mazda Miata. It's not either of the cars showcased! This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, much less the worst of 2011. If you want to see a car movie, re-watch Fast and the Furious - it's better than wasting your money to watch this awful movie in the theatre. I am rarely this harsh on any movie, but this one deserves every bit.

This movie had me sitting on the edge of my seat, the spot on car specs, the carefully thought out well placed quotes, the amazing car race scenes. You almost can't tell that half of this movie is cgi, and you definitely can't tell that the car the main character is driving changes while in the middle of a drift multiple times. For anyone looking for an action packed thriller, this is a must see!

Questions: 1.Since when does someone keep a car that was carrying drugs and seized by police? 2.When did they make a Skyline with the steering wheel on the Left? 3.When did a RX7 turn into a 240sx? 4.When did a MX5 turn into a RX7? 5.When did a stock Nissan 350zx cost $80K? 6.When did a Skyline have the same specs as a Nissan 350zx? 7.When did a LA Helicopter fly through a tunnel and race car crashes become CG? 8.So his mom and his GF were strippers that worked at the same club? Great family values 9.So his mom asked her boss to tell the drug dealer to stop coming in there and spending thousands of dollars because he was in race car accident w/ her son? 10.When did the drug deal(Casey) kill the brother? I might have missed that while I was laughing through the movie. I only saw the brother lose control of his 35K 350zx(not 80K)and crash, so how was he killed by the drug dealer? 11.How many times are they going to show the same drift scene with a 200sx that was never mentioned. 12.Who drew those 3rd grade drawings? 13.When the doctor comes out and says they had to remove her spleen...why did they ask if she was gonna live? I thought a 5th grade knew that you can live without your spleen and tonsils. In the beginning the mechanic(Kelly) lifted his hood and said "you messed with the timing." How did she know that by popping the hood? Secondly, she adjusted the timing in 2 seconds on a rotary engine...how is that possible? His GF wrecks her motorcycle after being chased and runs a marathon as if she never crashed her bike. There's no rips in her jeans or leather coat. Just as perfect as it was when she left the club. Then she kicks and knocks down this muscular dealer as if he weighs 150lbs. After the whole ordeal...he still wants his lap dance and she gives it to him(WTF). Then she hits him again as if this is something new. All I can say is fire the guy that green lit this movie.
