Weak, over-done, silly, but basically pretty harmless to the psyche. It's your run of the mill sci fi movie, is all. Not the high budget, heavy on the CGI type, but sort of old school, actually. But a lot of the folks here probably don't remember those good ole days, I guess.Heaven knows the current top of the box office "comedies" The Love Guru and Get Smart, are far worse, and so hyped that a lot of unfortunate movie-goers are getting rooked this weekend. One of the worst movie opening weekends in ages, in fact ! And at least it's on cable tonight, so I don't have to pay any more money, drive the car anywhere in the 100 degree heat, or pay to park !

There are some good things about this movie, and there are some misleading things about this movie. First the good stuff, the action part of the movie was good, also good music score. Acting was good, and the story line was well done. Some misleading things were the relationships between the people that saved sarge from the raptor, I just didn't understand that, and the person from WW11. A funny thing is that when they transport back to 1950 at the end, doesn't that sound remind you of a Pokeball? I give this film a 7/10 Good action movie Buy it if your into this kind of stuff

With Michaeal Gross, Chris Atkins and Greg Evigan. This could be a sequel to Journey To The Center Of The Earth or a prequel ? Maybe that's not fair,This is supposed to be a bigger film and has more success already on Sci-Fi Channel. Great cast, Script has some true moments and plenty of special effects. Michael Gross( from TREMORS) has some sparks with a character that is allowed to breathe life into a mad scientist role. Greg Evigan(BJ & THE BEAR) I believe was filming two movies a t once, And is noticeably In/out Burger-ish. Christopher Atkins(DALLAS) has fun scenes and the major love interest for one of few females along for the trek. We are disheartened on two points- Griff Furst ,WHY WAS your name removed as director ? The second, Saw these great behind the scenes on raptor and execution lacked, But T-REX was' freaking beacon of hope for kewl visuals'. Producers give more work to Stephen Blackehart , Geoff Meed and Eric Spudic ,'Wow' gentlemen !

Defiantly up there with the worst films I've ever seen. Basically they send a team of seals back in time 70 millions years, to rescue a group of folks from the fifties that got trapped there. However instead of arming them to the hilt they decide to arm them with a bunch of pea shooters. The team then come across a bunch of dino's that can dodge bullets, become invisible at will and run at what looks like 1000 mph. Most of the team are eaten, but just when its looks like its all over the dudes from the fifties jump out and whip the bullet dodging, semi invisible 1000 mph dino's with a few sharpened sticks. They then come back to the present and just so happen to leave the door open for what looks like a REX but is three times the size, to come through. In any event this REX like thing, is also bullet proof, can smash armoured cars with its head and run about 40-50. What would we do in such a situation? Well i'd prob suggest sending a few tanks to greet the chap, knowing fine well one shell would rip a REX in half. However the people in this film had a much better idea, have the REX chase a group of joggers from 1950 around.

Think the worst SCIFI Channel Original and make it 10 times worse. Scientist who worked on the Philadelphia Experiment takes a team of soldiers through a time machine to 100 million BC where he hopes to rescue friends and family who slipped through time 60 years before. Lots of badly rendered (they look underdone) monsters attack. Think cheap productions. think poor performances except the name actors. Think really awful special effects. This looks more like an amateur production then any sort of paid gig, (which is sad since in the right hands the story might have actually worked). Clearly this was released on video to cash in on 10,000 BC, but should one really bother with a turkey that is made to follow a turkey? Its films like this that make me sad that Mystery science Theater 3000 isn't still on the air.

Quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in 45 years of watching movies. It's not even so bad that it crosses the line into humour. Just plain pathetic. On every level. The only redeeming factor is that the worst actor in it gets eaten early on (by something masquerading as a dinosaur that is a disturbing cross between CGI written in DOS and a sock puppet). However, exactly who the worst actor is might have you guessing for a goodly portion of the "movie". Trust me, you do not want to waste 90 minutes of your life trying to figure out which one of the cast is stinking up the screen more. The FX are not so much "special" as "papier-mâché". The camera work is distinctly amateurish and the plot, such as it is, has at least one WWII personnel carrier driven right through it. Really, yes it does! Avoid at all costs.
