10 Minutes Gone

Most of the reviewers of this movie have rocks in their heads or didn't watch the same movie. This is a good little heist movie starring Michael Chiklis. All the review mention Bruce Willis but his was just a fairly unimportant bit part that could have been played by any competent actor. This is not a Bruce Willis movie and should not be rated based on him. Watch the movie. You will probably enjoy it.

Bruce Willis must currently be the laziest actor in Hollywood. For the past few years, he has appeared in a string of movies produced by schlockmeisters Randall Emmett and George Furla, and in every one he just appears for a few minutes while getting a hefty paycheck for doing almost nothing. What's worse is that in those few minutes of screen time, Willis clearly shows that he doesn't give a darn about his surroundings and instead gives a sleepwalking performance. All this happens again in "10 Minutes Gone". Actually, even if Willis gave some effort, this would still be one very bad movie. The only positive thing I can say about this movie is that the photography is fairly professional. Other than that, the list of bad things in the movie is endless. We have most of the movie seemingly filmed very quickly in derelict buildings and back alleys, hardly any set dressings, action sequences that are extremely routine and boring, a boring and unsuspensful main story thread, a performance by lead actor Michael Chiklis that suggests extreme displeasure and pain of being in this project, and a "surprise twist" near the end that you will guess long before it actually happens. Please, Bruce Willis, realize that you'd be better off retiring instead of further damaging your reputation by doing more quickie efforts like this!

I found this movie somewhat interesting although again it's one made on the cheap. The best performance was given by Michael Chiklis. I think he was the only one really trying to give his all. The worst was Meadow Williams. Every time she opened her mouth the movie took a nose dive. As for Willis it was a flatline. Not a movie you would want to watch again but it was worth a watch.

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time, and I'm a big Chiklis fan! As bad as the story is, Chiklis is worse and Willis is even worse. Not a redeeming second in this entire film, far more than "10 Minutes Gone" and wasted, more like 120 minutes. At least we got a bargain matinee price. Chiklis c'mon, what the hell were you thinking?

The combination of bad directing and bad acting move this movie to trash. The script is acceptable with some twists. The bad directing, hand in hand with the bad acting of the fainting star Willis, just ruined everything.

I find as my life is getting shorter, I have less patience with wasting time watching garbage. If it doesn't grab me in the first 10 minutes, then I'm not wasting another 80 - 120 minutes finishing a film. This is one of those cases. I'm astounded that anyone hires Bruce Willis anymore. He has been doing the same tired "I'm a badass" routine for the last 25 years. He isn't entertaining. He just floats along on whatever name he made 30 years ago. As I can't give an honest review without actually finishing a film, I just have to say, 10 minutes of this was awful. Watch at your own risk. I have seen this over and over again. This time wasn't any different. Bruce Willis needs to get his stuff together.

Omg. Worst piece of crap ever! Had to turn it off after 20 min, and it was FREE!

I like Bruce Willis and lately it seems he forgot how to act, or say no to bad rolls. I know I won't get fooled into watching a movie just because he's in it. I had to stop watching just before the ending, which could have come after 10 minutes had gone by. A waste of good talent.

I've always wondered how it is that 'big-name' stars can get roped into films that are absolute trash. Or how such trash could actually get made. Who among the 5 film companies behind this mess could not have looked at it and said "This makes no sense. We can't do this, it's embarrassing." I guess not. All for the money. Well, I hope they lose a lot, and whoever wrote this, directed it, or whatever, loses their shirts and never gets to make another movie. Cliched dialogue from start to finish, neither cops nor robbers that can hit a target right in front of them (the robbers had machine guns, for goodness sake, surely they could have hit someone - but no, just general incompetence all around), an ending or plot that makes no sense, a rat telescoped long before they were revealed - and none of this raised a red flag to anyone. Somebody should have pulled the plug on this before a single camera rolled.
