The Period of Her

Four young female directors weave together four short stories that highlight women's experiences from various angles about love, loss, the body, and imaginations of a more just world. A woman, heartbroken by her lover's betrayal, decides to seek revenge. A couple who have long desired a child find a baby abandoned in a public restroom. Nisa, experiencing her first period, must face the reality of not being able to compete in swimming competitions. And the fourth episode tells the story of Kempes waking up in a world with reversed gender roles.
