Nigel was born in Atikokin, Ontario the "Canoeing Capital of the World" and grew up in Toronto and spent some of his formative youth in Tokyo, Japan and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He attended Ryerson Theatre School and soon after graduation began his professional career working in Children's theatre with Actor's Trunk Co., Theatre Direct and co-founded the Acorn Theatre Company in Peterborough for young audiences....
