John Lie. Actor: Coming Home Again. John Lie was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Tokyo, Japan; and Honolulu, Hawaii. He is known to be a polyglot and an expert in classical music and oenology. He has published extensively in social theory, Asian Studies, and political economy. He teaches social theory at the University of California, Berkeley.
