George White. Writer: George White's 1935 Scandals. George White started in a burlesque dance team and later became a solo act. In the 1910s he came to Broadway, where he produced, directed, wrote and sometimes even appeared in shows. He is best remembered for his annual revue "Scandals" from the late 1910s to 1939.
