Alfred Jodl. Self: Nürnberg und seine Lehre. Colonel General Alfred Jodl was Chief of Operations in the High Command of the Wehrmacht from 1940 until the end of the war. At the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials Jodl was charged with approving orders that violated the rules of war. He was found guilty and hanged on 16th October, 1946.
